The Hotel and Restaurant Goldener Pflug now has a ten-year history of success.
\nIn the past, the team at the Goldener Pflug has always endeavored to offer its guests better and better service and to have the right solution for every requirement.

“We saw potential in the location”<\/h3>\n

Bettina and Wilhelm K\u00f6hle had been toying with the idea of taking over the former Hotel Stahl and restaurant at Dorfstra\u00dfe 4-6 for some time. “We saw potential in the location,” recalls the senior couple. “Our son Christian was 14 years old at the time and his career path was still uncertain. In 1998, we celebrated his confirmation in the Baroque Room, which is still very popular today. Our interest in the property was secretly awakened on that day.” Six years later, in spring 2004, the K\u00f6hle couple entered into negotiations with the Stahl sisters, the owners at the time. Christian K\u00f6hle, now 20 years old, had trained as a banker and gained some experience in the hospitality industry. “The best prerequisites for taking over a hotel and restaurant,” say Bettina and Wilhelm K\u00f6hle.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In August 2004, K\u00f6hle-Hotel-Betriebs GmbH was founded with Christian K\u00f6hle as managing director.
\nThe opening on October 1, 2004 was approaching.
\n“The dress rehearsal was a pre-opening party for the renovated hotel,” recalls Christian K\u00f6hle. “Many guests came and raved about the new Goldener Pflug hotel and restaurant.
\nIt was a great success.” <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Goldener Pflug suffered its first setback at Christmas. “We underestimated the rush of guests,” recalls the K\u00f6hle family. “There were considerable delays and long waiting times in the restaurant.” Unfortunately, word got around quickly – in a negative sense – and the Pflug had to overcome a long dry spell. “But as we all know, every crisis also presents an opportunity,” emphasizes Managing Director Christian K\u00f6hle. “Of course, we quickly learned from these mistakes. Since then, we have only worked a two-shift system on public holidays and national holiday. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our guests, who have remained loyal to us from the very beginning.”<\/p>\n

Fortunately, word has also gotten around that the Goldener Pflug is not only a good place to stay, but also a place where you can enjoy excellent food and pleasant hours with professional and friendly service.
\nThis also aroused the interest of companies in the beautiful guest rooms.
\nThe recently built parking lot and the staff apartment had to make way for new rooms and additional function rooms.
\nSo after the Ludwigsburg municipal council approved the hotel extension with underground parking in summer 2006, the diggers moved in again.
\nThe Goldener Pflug continued to grow and once again cleaned itself up.
\nThe extension was completed in March 2007 and was occupied on the evening before the confirmation in Pflugfelden. <\/p>\n

“It would be so easy if everything went smoothly without any unforeseen complications,” says Christian K\u00f6hle. Because, he explains, that night from Saturday to Sunday, a car crashed into the new extension. This terrible news spread like wildfire in Pflugfelden. The rooms and the new bar had been so badly damaged that the planned confirmation celebrations could not take place, it was said. “On that Sunday, churchgoers made a pilgrimage to our church to see the situation for themselves,” recalls Chris-
tian K\u00f6hle.
\n“The fact was that the car hadn’t managed to negotiate the bend at excessive speed.
\nFortunately, nothing happened to the driver, but nothing happened to the extension either.
\nThe celebrations went ahead as planned.
\nThey were not affected.” <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Summer 2007 marks another highlight in the company’s history.
\nThe German Hotel and Restaurant Association DE-HOGA awards the Goldener Pflug four stars.
\n“The stars were confirmed for the third time in summer 2013 for a further three years,” emphasizes Christian K\u00f6hle. “The constant investments and innovations have paid off.” <\/p>\n

In 2010, Christian K\u00f6hle’s wife Claudia joins the team and provides support wherever there is a need. In 2011 and 2012, sons Sebastian and Benjamin are born. “Perhaps two potential successors,” says Christian K\u00f6hle. Because, he says: “We hope that the third generation of our family will also steer the fortunes of the Goldener Pflug in the future.”<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
